- It is deemed that all children/vulnerable adults attending an event with Horsez on Wheelz have parental/Guardian
consent.
- Horsez on Wheelz cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction, or fear reaction, not directly communicated at
the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the individual, parent/guardian, or event organiser to ensure that any such
conditions are brought to our attention prior to attending the event.
- Suitable footwear must be worn. Shoes/boots with a hard sole & small heel are fine, as are wellies, but we ask that
open toe shoes are avoided for safety reasons. It is the responsibility of the individual, parent/guardian, or event
organiser to ensure that anyone attending an event is aware of this requirement.
- We try to minimise any damage to grassy areas, but we cannot guarantee that no damage will occur. It is likely that the
ponies will (as a minimum) leave some imprints on the grass regardless of weather conditions. We will take away any
waste left by the ponies before we leave.
- Ponies are NOT to be fed during the party/event unless authorised by the handler Horsez on Wheelz take no
responsibility for any injury sustained as a result of safety instructions not being adhered to.
- Our ponies are used to busy environments, but they are animals & can react if frightened. Neither Horsez on Wheelz,
nor the pony handlers can be held responsible for any injury sustained as a result of safety instructions not being
adhered to.
- To minimise the risk of the ponies becoming agitated, the area provided for the ponies should be a safe distance from
any noisy activities such as bouncy castles, trampolines, motorised vehicles & fairground rides.
- Dogs must be kept on leads and kept away from the ponies. Horsez on Wheelz cannot be held responsible for any
incident involving unsupervised, or out of control dogs. It is the responsibility of the individual, parent/guardian or event
organiser to ensure all dogs are fully under control at all times.
- It is the event organiser's responsibility to ensure that any relevant permission from landowners/Council has been
granted for the use of public areas such as village hall grounds & playing fields. Details to be provided to us prior to the
event.
- We will not attend any venue, nor accept any booking, until we are satisfied that the venue is suitable; this may involve
us making a site visit and/or performing a risk assessment. We can view photographs of potential venues to offer a
guideline answer and viewings on Google Earth and Google Street mapping are also useful tools. The assessment fee
will be non-returnable £15 (if successful this will be deducted from the package price)
- We provide hand sanitising gel/wipes, but we always recommend thorough hand washing with hot water and soap
after pony activities.
- Please note that photographs of the party will be taken and may be included on our website or literature for publicity
and advertising purposes. Please be assured that children will not be named, and details are securely protected under
the 1998 Data Protection Act. If parents/guardians do not wish for their child’s photo to be used for this purpose, we
request that they advise us of this on the booking form.
- Pony riding is a HIGH-RISK SPORT, and risk of injury, or serious injury, is possible. Similarly, being in close proximity
to ponies carries a risk of injury. Although we endeavour to minimise every risk and hazard, animals are unpredictable
if scared or hurt, and serious harm can occur. In booking one of our events you accept this risk and agree to abide by
all safety instructions.
- Verbal or written abuse of any kind (including threats of abuse or retribution) to any staff member or animal of Horsez
on Wheelz will result in the immediate termination of our services.
- By booking a pony party, or other event, you agree to our Terms & Conditions, and accept the points set out in this
Disclaimer. And also confirm that you take full responsibility of ALL of the children/Adults participating in the
party/event.
